Regenerative designCircular economyProduct design

Richárd Nagy is a sustainability expert and regenerative design practitioner with over seventeen years in sustainable development, circular economy and permaculture. His work bridges ecological, social and economic sustainability with a strong focus on regenerative design principles.

A certified permaculture designer (PDC), circular-economy expert and Blue Economy consultant, he has contributed to initiatives from Permaculture Resource Ireland to the University of Pécs' Blue Economy program. His doctoral thesis expands Regenerative Design Thinking into the (P)RDT — (Permanently) Regenerative Design Thinking — method, integrating ecological farming, agroforestry and ecological economics.

With his boutique design studio of more than twenty-five years he has earned over forty design awards — including eight Red Dot Design Awards in the product category — and he teaches sustainability and regenerative design to the next generation of designers.
